Glee will start in 2 weeks on the Dutch television. I read a lot about it on this site. But is it really worth watching?

First season was worth it. We will have to see if this season is great also. Hopefully this next season they slow things down a bit and explore character storylines a bit instead of blasting through them again.

go to hulu.com to check out some of their episodes. if you like musicals...i think you'll like Glee...but check it out yourself to get a feel for it. I'm definitely a fan of most of their musical renditions.

It's witty, well written and well acted. The show is worthy of it's reputation

Some episodes are great- others are............................................ but it's an okay show.

Even if you don't like musicals you can still enjoy the show- although I wouldn't call this a "musical..." -when I think of musical I think of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GP6DX9lxlZ4, where the songs help propel the plot- This is mostly just a cheesy comedy with a "Top 100 hits" radio's playlist. You can easily skip past all the songs and not find yourself asking, "What's going on?" icon_razz.gif That's actually what I did- the skipping of the lame music that is.

Something about hormonal teens periodically bursting into song doesn't sit well with me. I can't stand the show!

lol, thats succinct icon_razz.gif I like it

OK, so Ive seen a few here in the Caribbean... its not really big around here, I didnt even hear of the show until it Real Jock members were talking about it... mostly I wasnt a fan of the stories, but mind me I hate television, and have little patience to sit in front of it for more than ten minutes... but, I will say the music is awesome, the singers are amazing, and theres this total stud with a mohawk on the show lol

But, I doubt those singers are really hormonal teens... Are they really?

I'm sure they are older in real life. They just play teens in the show . I'm a little too dark for Glee I suppose...

It's worth watching. It alternates between heartwarming and depressing, but is always dorky. Sometimes dorky to the point that it's painful, but it has to go there.

Turn off the last episode right before Will starts to sing for his students right before summer break begins. Because there is no goddamn excuse for the fucking Israel whatever-his-last-name-is Hawaiian arrangement of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."

    Second season sucks.
It's become too much of a theme show, with a flavor of the week sort of vibe- they no longer infuse music with the story like in musicals.
