right click the image if you have a two button mouse (like Mac's Mighty Mouse) and select "Save Image as.." or "Save Image to Downloads". If you don't see those select "Download Linked file".

If you have their single button mouse hold CTRL and click.

To save images on a Mac, just click on the image with your mouse and drag it to your desktop.

It skips having to "Save as" or click ctrl.

Yeah, this is actually pretty uncool... RealJock was designed to try to keep people from saving pictures of its members for a reason.

screw that, hot men who post their pics want to be admired.

    here's a neat trick with a mac.

hold down the command, shift and the number 4 key (this will turn your cursor into a cross. you can now capture any image on your screen and it will save to your desktop)

    you're welcome. icon_biggrin.gif

The "save image as" is disabled. So you can't do that on RJ using a Mac.

However, you can do a screen capture (as someone else posted above) or use "Grab" to copy part of the screen. "Grab" is in your Utilities subdirectory.

As to whether pictures should be saved or not due to the philosophy of RJ, implying members shouldn't be objectifying other members.... Sorry, get real. I'd say over 3/4 of the profiles have "objectifying" pictures, washboard abs, pecs, biceps. If you post a picture like that, you want to be objectified, and if people feel the desire to save them for that reason, or any other more benign reason (like you'd like to have a picture of a Buddy), so be it.

"The "save image as" is disabled."

I use Firefox on Windows XP, and it doesn't appear that way to me. If I go to a profile and click on a picture to see it full size, there is no "Save Image As" option, but I'm pretty sure that's because they're using an oddball HTML trick to display images. When I right click on the fullsize image there is the option to "View Background Image", and doing that displays just the image. "Save Image As" works just fine on the displayed image. Example:

PhxAriz08 saidparadox! SHHHHHHHHH Don't tell them how.

It's ok, I'm sure the RealJock moderators will be watching. This will give them some useful tips for stopping the photos being copied. icon_smile.gif

    LOL, a stalkers compendium.

Oh please please no more anti-copying measures. What's already there is enough.

RJ is already so sloooooooow on my internet connection because of its anti-copying measures. Personally I got no problem with that, as I wouldn't want to promote fake profiles on other sites, LOL, but please don't give em hints makeumyne! LOL
