Looks like it will be hooking to the North and most of the energy will be over water.

Thanks for posting! My folks still live in South Florida.

It's no biggie. It's not expected to hit land. The worst we've had today (Miami) is wind gusts around 25-30 MPH or so. The skies were extremely clean (some clouds, but no haze) and the colors of everything were vibrant as I've seen in a long time.

I'll report again tomorrow when it's closer, because I have to fly up the east coast back to Savannah...4 hour flight (5 including fuel stop) in a small plane at low altitude with all this wind. That should be fun. icon_lol.gif

I'll take a combination of hurricanes, wildfires, and earthquakes over snow any day. Cold weather sucks. icon_razz.gif

Everyone looks good when they're photoshopped, even Earth! But they went overboard. Panama looks way too slimmed down.

Labor Day weekend for the Mid-Atlantic and NE coastlines could be REAL UGLY!....Please keep tuned to the news and GTFO if they say "EVACUATE!".....not ejaculate!, but you get the idea!....Labor Day hurricanes and New England have a very bad and deadly history.......icon_eek.gif a cat 3 or 4 hurricane is NOT a game it is the same strength as when KATRINA or RITA or OPAL, or IVAN, or CHARLIE or so many others that have hit the US coasts......

Katrina was the most costly and one of the most lethal storms in US history, but it is not the strongest nor is it the most intense.....

see other storms of SERIOUS note and destruction...

True that! I've shoveled snow once in my life. And I did it for the cardio and because I knew that I would never live somewhere where snow fell and lingered.

    Ugh!

weird, I thought it was just a superposed picture of a satellite shot on planet earth with the intent to show the physical properties of the phenomenon and the water temperature on its trajectory.

I thought so too. If Photoshop was involved it was just to enhance the colors and contrast to make it all dramatic and shit. It's cool though.
