You said that Ground Zero was "Sacred Ground" and that a Muslim Center would "Offend" the people who died there???

    This is freakin' ugly

Bigot starts ground zero church: Where's the outrage?
A pastor who hates Muslims, Mormons and gays will start preaching Sunday. Will mosque opponents speak out?
    http://www.salon.com/news/politics/war_room/2010/08/30/bigot_establishes_ground_zero_church/index.html
Pastor Bill Keller of Florida a bigoted pastor who has assailed gays and Muslims is launching the 8 Million dollar "9-11 Christian Center at Ground Zero" a mere two blocks from the World Trade Center site this Sunday, but so far the project hasn't drawn a peep of protest from those who are outraged by the "ground zero mosque."
This is a rabidly anti-gay bigot who is stepping right into the deep shit pile
and I wanna see who comes out and says anything

GQ - It's okay for him to start a church because he's WHITE and CHRISTIAN.

It would be nice if the media covered the pro-Mosque 9/11 families of which there are many, many. icon_rolleyes.gif

He's welcome to start a church there---even if his beliefs offend me he still has that right. Apparently it has escaped him that his right to do so is precisely the same right that allows the muslims to build their community center in downtown Manhattan.

But bigots are rarely thoughtful people, alas.

Everyone has a like or dislike for something. If certain people want to stir up the public opinion to be against the mosque, that's one thing, but if they want to restrict the freedom and ability for the mosque to be built on privately owned property, that's another.

I'd prefer for the mosque not to go up, but that's just my personal opinion. Could it be construed as "bigotry" or "hate"? Sure, but we all discriminate and show preferences with just about everything every single day.
