I'm into anything except for cliche romantic comedies =]
Please, something off the beaten path.

Just start rating different movies that you have seen on the site. Netflix will then use those ratings as a way to suggect movies that you may like!

that's the best thing ever! I've even disconnected my cable since (1) I don't really watch TV and (2) netflix nas pretty my all the movies and TV shows I want and I dont need to wait for reruns. I mean I may be few seasons behind but you can pretty much watch them marathon a a weekend icon_biggrin.gif

    And it's worth the money!

Hmm... I've been through netflix and got to the point where I can't find anything there that I want to watch either. I guess it's back to reading books in the evening.

That said, they do have a fairly large catalog of independent films and even a LGBT section. But there's no real guide to finding a movie, other than "what's poplar." (Ugh.) You have to go to other sources of movie info/reviews, then check to see if netlfix has a particular title.

TV: All seasons of Doctor Who, Torchwood, Weeds, Dexter.

To be honest, their recommendation algorithm is amazing once you've rated a couple hundred movies. I'd say add their near-5 star recommendations. They don't steer ya wrong!

It is million dollar good. Netflix held a contest for who could design the best recommendation algorithm with a million dollar prize.
