A pal of mine has been approached by a couple of the big adult film companies and is considering going into the biz. I'm an attorney and he's asked me to look into the legal side of things. QUESTION for any of you guys who have done this before: do you have a copy of a contract or associated documents? Advice on what we should look out for?

You're a one of those evil lawyer dudes.
Do your own fucking research, and don't rely on other people's shit. icon_wink.gif

Be sure to study up United States Code Title 18 Section 2257, and your local and state laws concerning adult entertainment and production.

I'm more interested in the industry specific info than the law. What issues are concerns for adult film actors that should be addressed in a contract?

Ya, but look at that adorable picture of him and his dog! That cancels out any 'evilness.'

    Austinlawdog,
I really do not know a whole lot about the porn industry. However, I have heard stories of companies trying to take advantage of porn stars and/orr forcing them to do bareback films. I'd just be careful.

It's a very competitive business--back in 2007, the owner of Cobra Video, Bryan Kocis, was murdered by porn stars in from another porn industry. Also look up Brent Corrigan (real name Sean Lockhart).

I'm sure all porn companies don't take advantage of their actors--just be aware.
