Hey. I'm pretty new to all this. So far I've gone to the gym and paid them and now I'm supposed to go there and do stuff.

    Any tips? pointers?

I'm in pretty good shape - kinda thin. 1.83 m and about 69kg... but i wanna just build my body a bit and get into better proper shape.

Let me know any thoughts or questions?

    W

RJ's workout plans: http://www.realjock.com/article/1164 ... I think they can be too complicated and intense for beginners.

Also, look on RJ's home page and scroll down. In the middle column, you will find a selector for exercises. It looks something like this.

RJ has really excellent videos and photos to explain the exercises.

I'd suggest hiring a trainer to help you get started. That way you'll gave a better grasp on basic exercises needed, proper form, and the amount of weight your body can handle for each exercise.

Caslon - Thanks I'll have a look at it.

Paul - I think you've got a good point there hey. Was thinking along the same lines. I should ask the guy doing my assessment tomorrow. icon_razz.gif
