For me, it's having a friend who reads comics. When I was in high school, I had a good friend who also read comics. It was great to get together and read comics and be geeks, just talking about all the various stuff. I don't have that anymore.

Outdoor activity buddies. None of my friends are very active these days. I was hoping to get everyone together and do the Camp Pendleton Mud Run, at least once. But that ain't gonna happen. icon_neutral.gif

I used to read comics too. Got all depressed in my 20's and sold my huge collection icon_sad.gif never got back into it but still like looking at that kind of stuff and talking about them.

I miss relationships with women which I stopped dating in my late 20's when I figured my interest in guys was stronger. There are all kinds of relationships that I miss as I have moved and lost contact with old friends.

MMA/boxing friends. I cant seem to find anyone else as into as I am since I moved here. The few I have found arent necessarily into the sport, they just want to talk about how hot the fighters are.

okay, i know it sounds desperate and pathetic, but soul mate... i think i'm at that point where i'm ready should i find him. provided he's gay. i got some good straight guy friends who are essentially as close to soul mates as you can get without being married or at least dating.

Having late night conversations about anything with intelligent friends at coffee shops, bars or someone's place.
And then going home to cuddle with a man who doesnt mind when I toss and turn or snore.

    *sigh*

Someone that loves me as much I love them. I've always loved others more. Plus, after a 5 year unintentional haiatus, I think it's time. Oh, and a guy who has an inappropriate sense of humor and plays video games. That may go with the one above too.... icon_eek.gif

    Friends.

I'm living a pretty isolated life right now, it really sucks. I just want someone to hang out with and watch TV, wrench on a car, movie ... SOMETHING.

honestly, I miss having gay friends. All my friends anymore are straight and women. My best gay friends and I all grew apart when I got into a relationship. They still wanted to go out to the bars and drink with every free second they had, and me I wanted to make dinner plans, movie plans, something other than drinking at the meat market. they didnt want that, so they continued to go out every weekend, and I did go out with them from time to time, but it got old... I wanted to go somewhere where we could actually hear each other, and hold a conversation....they didnt want that....so now im deep in the world of heterosexual women, and i am SO sick of hearing about their babies/children/grandchildren, I could just scream!
I need gay friends who ultimately dont meet my bf and I and first think how they can turn this into a sexual friendship...I want game night, movie night, dinner night, that kinda stuff...

a whippet named Tiberius that enjoys playing fetch in Washington Circle, will sit on the couch with me, and will sleep on the end of my bed every night

a guy who is up for a easy-going but still committed relationship and accepts the fact that the dog will always be my first boyfriend icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

What strikes me as being a little sad about this post, is that there are obviously a lot of people looking for people.

Why the heck can't we find each other?

I'm out there looking around, doing new things in the hope of meeting someone, but still nothing...
