Sup guys, first RJ forum post goes...

Forgive me I am a bit of a storyteller.

So I was out in one of my common group social situations with a lot of new people the other day. Luckily I don't concern myself too much with how others perceive me, so I tend to be quite social and talk a lot. Anyhow, I met this one guy and we hung out for pretty much the whole night (with everyone else of course, playing darts and drinking beer). To the point, I realized that it was yet another example of a time when I would have liked someone to have known that I was gay, or at least feel comfortable asking me about it (it's kind of funny how awkward some people get when they think you are, but are too afraid to ask), since I don't exactly go shouting it from rooftops.

With this in mind, I was thinking of maybe wearing a pin or something to let people know that I'm comfortable with them asking about me. Additionally, when I meet new people, at least they would have some indication of my preference, which could alleviated a lot of the, "I wonder if he likes dudes..." that can arise, and perhaps help foster a new relationship that would not have occurred otherwise!

I was thinking the linked male symbols, pinned to my hat. Kind of has a hip, 70's, freelove kind of feel. Definitely not a rainbow anything.

Let me know what you guys think!

I think go for it if you go places with gay/bi friendly people but if not it could attract unwanted attention if you know what I mean icon_wink.gif
