well i know and like that monster but my question is I am really unhappy with my weight I have set a goal of losing 30 pounds in 6 months. I currently weigh 180 and want a goal of 150 with some muscle definition and such. I am starting the "lifestyle" change on monday. I will be following the abercrombie diet with a few modifications to suit me. I chose this diet because it seems the most flexable with what i eat, within reason, and the workouts fit into my hectic schedule.

So my questions are what is a good substitute for a granola bar? I dont like those kind of nuts.

What is a substitute for cottage cheese? my suggested diet is calling for two cups as my last meal.

Suggest posting in Nutrition - Losing Weight folder. You should get some useful responses there.

maybe instead of eating a granola bar, eat some organic nuts, Walnuts gives a load of benefit bc it contains Omega3 fatty acids, which help brain function, depression, cardiovascular system, and lots of other stuff. I like eating nuts with a banana, they go so well together.

As far as cottage cheese. I never really liked the stuff, until I learned you can put pepper on it. When you eat it like that, it's actually quite good for dinner.
