Hey guys, I'm taking a stand-up comedy class right now and loving it. I've got a ton of favorites including Wanda Sykes, Dave Attell, Daniel Tosh, Wendy Liebman, Gabriel Iglesias, Harland Williams, and so many more.

Who are some of your favorites?

    British comedian Michael McIntyre.
He is straight but deliciously camp and hilariously funny.

Sandra Bernhard has been my favorite for years although I can honestly say I don't know anybody else that likes her(or can even stand her). In my opinion. Kathy Griffin copied her celebrity-bashing/social satire shtick and just delivers it in a less dry, more mainstream way. I like a joke that becomes funnier the more you think about it. Although I find Sandra's becoming less funny the older she gets. She seems to be taking herself too seriously these days.

Kathy Griffin can be funny and I love Joan Rivers. Maybe it's because I'm gay, but I have always thought women were funnier than men. I'm definitely in the minority with that view, however.

I love Ellen Degeneres -- her brand of humor is clean and she usually doesn't offend anyone. On the other hand, Kathy Griffin offends all the time and cracks me up too. I also like Wanda Sykes sometimes.

I love Kathy Griffin, Ellen and Wanda Sykes! I think David Chappelle is absolutely brilliant!!
My favorites of all time are: Richard Pryor, Redd Foxx, George Carlin, Steve Martin, Sam Kinison and Martin Mull--(saw him live once and he was hilarious).

My ultimate favorite comedian though was Rodney Dangerfield. I can watch old clips of him and still laugh even though I have heard the same jokes many times

Truely. Watch a few things by Maria Bamford...she's a bit bizarre but I really think she will become more known...she really has a funny edge to her.
