Sounds like you have some sort of Malware on the computer. Have you tried MalewareBytes, virus scan, spybot, etc?

Don't look at porn, for one icon_razz.gif

Make sure your anti-virus is up to date. If it isn't, update it, if it won't let you update because you have to pay for it, then do the following IN ORDER:

    1) Download avast! Free Antivirus
    2) Disconnect from the internet
    3) Uninstall your current anti-virus
    3) Install avast!

Run a scan and hopefully that'll grab what you have.

If you aren't able to install avast! because your computer won't let you, then you have malware installed that is blocking it. You will either need to have a professional remove the malware, or you'll have to reinstall the operating system and start from scratch.

LOL. ROFL. Stupid Person of The Day Award goes to!!!

Your browser, virus checker, and operating system, have measures in place to protect against icky people and stupid people; they're trying to save you from yourself.

    Follow the advice of flex89.

You shouldn't be on porn sites (the worst of the dirtbags run them).

Did you ever think your computer would trying to protect you from your own ignorance? It likely is.

A classic call came into flex89 and me a few weeks back: "My girl friend, Brandi, is wanting to know how to turn the virus checker off when she's trying to download (a.k.a. steal) music on Frostwire" I about fell out of my rocking chair. Stupid people are stupid, and bad guys know that. The trick is to stop being stupid. ROFL.

If your OS, browser, or virus checker are going off, it's for good reason. You're doing something you should not be.

    LMAO.

Stupid people are stupid. Yes, they are.

    Clear your cookies.

Go to disk cleanup. You just went to a shitty website that uploads your computer with spyware.

Dude that's not very nice. I'm sure that if I ask you to configure my SCP end point or manage my exchange server, you also haven't got the slightest clue what to do.

Also, the only thing he said is "I'm being redirected". He didn't give any information on what's being redirected to where, whether it's his OS, his browser, or a website.

In other words, he didn't give any information that would allow you to determine what's wrong. He should provide some screenshots. A "redirect" as he describes it is probably not the http 304 where the word is used for, but he means something else.

Very much not nice. Do you go at it like this as well when you have to help your aging parents or somebody else with little computer experience?

To the OP... have somebody look at it and determine how much damange has been done. It might be necessary to reinstall your OS from scratch.

As far as virus scanners go: spend money on it. You can download and crack everything, except a virus scanner, you really do wanna pay for that. I recommend Kaspersky. It's something like 40 bucks a year, well worth it.

Start backing up your files, I know someone who had the same issue and it got to the point where the virus/malware took over the system and she had to wipe her hard drive off clean and start over again.

For those who can't read, I quote: "was wondering if anyone could help me out. every time i go to certain websites it redirects me and wont allow me to that page. very basic computer user here. please be patient and all help is appreciated. "

Flex89 gave him the advice he needed, and I recommended he follow it.

Not only did I read what was written, in its entirety, but, I also stated the cause, and the solution, and that the person asking needed to educate themselves.

If you look at the profile of the original poster, you can tell he's so lazy as to not have even take time to complete even the most basic of elements in the profile. Make like Sherlock Holmes and see the obvious.

While ignorant folks sometimes can't help it because of mitigating factors, a smart person is only a few clicks away from new knowledge. He's just lazy.

Dude, the guy is too lazy to even complete his profile and you're suggesting he provide screenshots?

I concur, he doesn't communate effectively, and appears to be both ignorant and lazy.

Flex89, and I, told him what to do.

Install avast! and see what happens. We also took time to explain WHY the page was likely being blocked. We contributed way MORE than any other poster here.

This is the very worst advice of all, and spoken from a truly ignorant place.

Avast, as flex89 recommended, Windows Update, or whatever update is needed, Spybot Search and Destroy, and Ad Aware, can usually get stuff off, and they're free, and almost always better than their commercial counter parts. Not always,...but usually. I've NEVER had a Windoze system I couldn't get cleaned up and running, but, sometimes, it takes patience, research, and several tries to recover from folks that have been on porn sites, the almost universal culprit in these cases.

For those who can't read, I quote: "was wondering if anyone could help me out. every time i go to certain websites it redirects me and wont allow me to that page. very basic computer user here. please be patient and all help is appreciated. "

Note that the original poster was saying he was getting blocked. That almost always means the anti-virus / spyware / windows defender was up and running properly and doing its job, and that the poster was going to bad sites that he shouldn't be going to in the first place.

People, instead of lashing out at the person who knows / is the solution, take time to pay attention to details, and, if you offer advice, offer it from a qualified position. Ignorance on top of ignorance doesn't do anyone any good.

For the lashers, I worked in support for M$ (Hilltop Center, Irving, TX), and have been in my trade for 35 years. I know all about Exchange Server, but, even if I didn't, it wouldn't mean I don't know lazy and ignorant, and too lazy to go looking, when I see it.

Smart folks get smart by helping themselves and NOT being spoon fed by others.

Porn sites arent any more dangerous than any other site. So the idiots that mentioned porn-sites as the main source for computer viruses clearly dont know what they're is talking about(except for flex89 obviously he was joking). Will you get viruses with Belami, Corbin Fisher, Randy Blue, Next Door Studios, Maskurbate, Brazzers, Mofos, Reality Kings and such? You seriously have 10 more chances of getting a virus by accessing your local news website.

I worked as back-end programmer for Brazzers(major straight porn site worldwide) for 1 year and the technology that goes to maintain a website that makes millions a month is simply unbelievable. Most porn sites make money by keeping users paying a monthly fee they will do whatever it takes to avoid cancellations.

However, will you get viruses from made up porn site ads you follow up nesting yourself in a chain of "free porn" advertising? Most likely, same way you can get a virus from any site promoting 30 lbs weight lost in 7 days.

So obviously the decision of "stop watching porn" wont even nearly free you from getting viruses. Youll still be vulnerable, your computer will be 100% infected and on top of that fucking sexually frustrated like chucky. So please get your antivirus software and continue watching your porn, enjoy yourself and cum till no end.
