Having had to face the possibility of a fairly imminent death, I can tell you that you can't tell how you are going to react. You can't grasp really dying and your own mortality. Your brain won't let you. You can inttellectually know that you will die sometime in the future. But really don't experience it ....your brain doesnt really come to grips with it emotionally until it is upon you.

    Nice article.

Until I stared death in the face several years ago, I was caught up in the "image" of the modern man. Humility forced me to discover my core and what I wanted to accomplish with my life.

I could die satisfied tomorrow, the rest of my life is icing on the cake. I LOVE icing, it's the best part of the cake.

Awesome article. Thank you for sharing.
I wish I had the appreciation for life that dying people have, but I just don't. I also know that being truly happy is a choice and something that comes from within but I don't know how to tap into that either icon_sad.gif
