Ever get to your car and start driving and realize you've forgotten to bring something along? Yesterday I forgot, once again, to bring my wide-angle camera lens. Well, here's a tip:

Keep it in your car. Since you're probably always going to be near your car even if away. Put a little box or bag in your car for things you use mostly when outdoors.

And when the car gets stolen?

The stairs up to the main floor or the kitchen counter are mine, as I have to pass by one if not both on the way to my car.

Yeah, I do that too. Sometimes I'll toss something on the floor in my way so I won't forget it. Those portable audio recorders are good too, especially at the bedside. Wait......I mean to record memos of things not to forget. icon_wink.gif

I keep a couple of cargo totes in the back with a full change of clothes, towels, picnic items, blankets, tarp, tools, backpack, binoculars, rock hammer, sample jars, maps, radios, etc. etc.

The original idea was supposed to be that I could stay out for a weekend without pre-planning at any time.

I set those up the week after I drove 300 miles to go diving. Started in the desert where it was 90 degrees. Ended up in the islands in the cold pouring rain and fog and realized... I hadn't brought any shoes. Not even sandals. Even more fun when I stopped in Sleazattle (to buy some shoes); stepped out of the car right onto a used hypodermic needle.

I saw a similar response, but how about setting up everything you will need the following day with your keys or wallet the next day. (At training for my work, I have learned to anticipate to pack to various counties based on weather, and to always have certain documents on me once I leave my apartment.)

If all fails an agenda call along with your phone's alarm clock. I have used this feature a few times. icon_smile.gif thank you Nokia

Where the heat will make the latex deteriorate causing holes and making them easier to break.
