working my ass off but....

    I have always been a thinner guy but can't seem to lose the weight in the mid section and the chest...

    I've just finished a really nice 8 week program taking 3 days off and starting another tomorrow...

    I lift as heavy as I can, my routine is:

    MonChest/Tri
    Tues Shoulders
    Wed OFF
    Thurs Legs
    Fri Back/Bis

    I don't do cardio but I eat really well...

    thoughts?

    you want to lose the weight in areas... but are not doing any cardio?

    DO cardio.

    Try it, see if it works.

    I know but I work out really hard was trying to get my heart rate up during my workout...

    I go to the gym at 530AM and need to be at work by 730 so I tend to lift and then need to get home... I can add cardio after work but does that seem like overkill?

    Do most guys lift AND do cardio on every lifting day?

    Some do, some don't.

    Look up high intensity interval training. Ten minutes of that, done properly, will kick your ass.

    You could always add cardio in on Wednesday ;)
