halltd saidIs the iPhone the most fragile mobile on the market? I swear everyone I know that has one has broken the screen. I love what the phone can do, but I feel like I'd be under so much stress if I had one...for fear of breaking it. I've dropped my Blackberry maybe 3-4 times and it doesn't even have a scratch on it (no case either).
ScoobyDoobyDude saidIf you're really nice to them at the Apple Store, they might replace the screen for free. They did it for me--mine was only a single crack but it ran the entire length of the screen. They replaced it within 15 minutes at no charge.
charlitos saidI've had 3 iPhones....ive dropped them on the street, at the gym, while walking. I've seen it flying 4 meters from the ground and landing on concrete. I scratched the screen and the volume button came off on my first iPhone but that's about it seriously. My 3GS right now has a a little crack on the back plastic cover...A lot of my friends have iPhones and only one of them managed to break the glass...I don't know how u guys do it
StudlyScrewRite said you do realize, don't you, that eBay has about 155 items listed under "iPhone replacement glass" ranging in price from $.01+shipping up to $25.99?

Yah - I work at a Cellular provider ... so I'm going to see if a coworker that manages the iPhone product marketing dept can get me a new one ... Otherwise, I'll just go have the glass replaced.
It's not my primary phone - but it's still a piss off
