I cant tell you how many times I've heard that all Christians hate gays. Its funny because I'm Christian and I don't hate gays. This is like when black people accuse every conservative white person of being racist because on MSNBC they showed a clip of some random guy saying that he hates blacks. I swear to god some people are so fucking stupid.

And then some gay people go on to hate Christians because of their sad confusion. I know this because I work with two gay guys and they always rant about how much they hate Christians. God forbid if I said something negative about gays, they would have a fucking stroke, but lets pretend its ok for them to discriminate against me. They complain about discrimination and then discriminate against people who are different then them often in the same sentence. Its like how some of the most racist black people in the world complain about racism more then anyone else. Am I going nuts or is this world just stupid?

One guy at my work told be that I discriminate against him by being Christian because the bible says that homosexuality is a sin. Did you know that just about everything fun in the world is a sin? I'm not gay but I lie, cheat, and fuck random girls. I love fucking different girls and I get board with the same girl. That's who I am and I will never be able to change that. I guess according to some gays logic, that makes me a victim of Christian discrimination because the bible says I'm a sinner. Oh wait, nvm the bible also says that all sinners will be forgiven including murderers and rapist. So don't cry me a river about how unfair this world is.

Truth is, if fucking men gets your dick up, then power to you. Same if fucking fat girls get your dick up. Fosho that's you and I'm glad your happy. Why would I hate you for who you fuck? That doesnt even make sense. One thing though, STFU and get the fuck off my case about what I do because i dont give a fuck about you or what you do.

BTW, who cares about gay marriage. The only thing that happens when your married is you realize how much you hate your life and your partner takes half your money. Your lucky that you cant legally make that mistake. Trust me I know.

You answer your own question. This is what many millions of Christian US citizens believe, that we gays are evil, that what we live in sin.

So that many Christians do indeed hate gays. This is an undeniable fact. And they want anti-gay hatred to be enacted into US law. Which the Republican Party has pledged to do, according to their Party platform.

Well I guess that I'm evil too because I sin just like gays do. Christians hate me too guess. All Christians are sinners so I guess all Christians are evil. All Christains must hate Christians too. All People are sinners I guess Chistians hate all people too. All people are evil according to Christianity.

    ?

I wont get into this too deep.

Depending on your Christian teachings you may believe that all people are evil for their sins or whatever.... but most Christians follow the "hate the sin, not the sinner" way of thinking...

Then there are the idiots who pick and choose what they condemn... and say that homosexuality is a bigger sin than another simply because they aren't comfortable with it.

I had that conversation a lot of times and it is true that there are many believers that dont care about sexuality, but still there are many that do and these People are the problem. Many of those who oppose Gays are in position of power and as long as that doesnt change, Gays will always have a more difficult life then other People.

As a Christian, a United Methodist to be exact, these idiots get the most airtime because they play on fear, ignorance, and hatred of the unknown and the other. When things don't revolve around their so-called perfect world, they freak out and start screaming and shouting to get their points across. To me, it seems like they want to maintain a certain power and cultural precedent that dislikes/hates things that are different, strange, unusual, and so on.

The Bible says NOTHING about being same-sex attracted/aroused! I see being gay, like many other things in life, as being morally neutral and something that just is; something that is neither good nor bad, rather it just is.

Many of my gay friends are not sexually promiscuous, practice their faith in God actively and seriously, and try their best not to judge and condemn others, and serve in their church helping those in dire straights.

    Brulesrules,

Sorry you've had such a consistently negative experience. I'm christian and also gay. They aren't mutually exclusive except for those who insist on taking certain bible verses out of context.

Next time a gay person insists you are being anti-gay by being christian, say: "go tell that to gaychristian.net".

Ok, Christians hate gays, because they misunderstand the bible. The mono-Christians group was the closest to how Christ was. Orthodox Christians were the middle ground. While Catholics were the extremes, they changed there ideology in order to covert more people.

All Protestant movements are derived from the original Catholic movement of Christianity. The rise of the Virgin Marry was a way to replace the Goddess in the Pagan Religions with a Catholic appropriate image.

If we go into the fundamentals of Christianity down to its core, and ask why does the bible go against gays?

    Children and procreation.

When you factor in the pre-existence, and unified cycle of the Ancient view, you come to see that the Bible is against gays because it prevents them from loving Agape.

Agape is the highest level of love, found commonly in a parent for a child willing the good of the other over yourself. (extremely rare in hetro, almost unheard of in homo)

Philos is the love of a relationship or brotherhood, it is extremely common when you stay in the relationship for the sake of the relationship.

Eros where the word Erotic is derived form where you are simply in love with the feeling, emotion or action.

It is my belief that God is not against Homosexuality but, rather that he is against us from preventing ourselves from ever truly experiencing the highest level of love Agape. God loves us so much that he wants us to feel the love he feels for us, for to know love is to know god, and by achieving Agape we become as god is in knowing love. But, by stopping and seeking Philos or Eros, as most do we prevent ourselves form knowing god, and know ourselves as Christ or Satin knows us. I view Christ as Philos for he has seen the worst of man shared our pain in the atonement and thus loves us as one of us. Satin is the Eros, the illusion of love, rather just the feeling of it, no truth, wisdom or compassion.

Your summary of Agape being rare and almost unheard of in straight/gay relationships is not only dead wrong, its sad.

So God must also be against heterosexuality because it contains aspects of eros and is therefore "preventing" agape love. And you are incorrect in your definitions. Eros does not just mean lust, it is the love that is between two individuals sharing a spiritual, emotional and sexual connection. Agape and eros are not mutually exclusive.

Miss read what I tried to say, let me clarify.
God is not against homosexuals nor heterosexuals, they are both irrelevant. The goal of existence (in my view) is to gain experience, and know god in every aspect of life. But, how can one know god if one doesn't know love.

Each level of love encompasses the other, Eros being the lowest, Agape being the highest. How could one love without an emotional connection (eros) or a relationship (philos) but, to will the good of the other over yourself that is the rarest love (agapa).

It's really not that the "Christians" hate gays
it's more that The Organized Religions that represent Christianity hate Gays

In the same way that most Europeans see Americans
They dislike American policy .... but most do not dislike individual Americans

You've hit the nail right on the head:

Romans 3:10-12, v. 23 - the Bible 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

    ...

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

There are other verses that back this up, but you've discovered what most Christians acknowledge about the state of man:

We are a bunch of messed up, evil, twisted people. Sinners. All of us.

And it doesn't matter whose genitals end up in or on whoever else's body.

So while you may not know any of the people on here, you do know of many (many) gays who hate Christians.

True. Actual knowing and "knowing of" are two different things. Many gays preach tolerance, but in the same respect many of those same people are intolerant to Christians, women, Republicans, and gay men who don't want to be their bottom bois.

It's not intolerance when those people have negative impact on your life, in this case Christians and Republicans.

Last time I checked women were fine and your last one sounds like a personal problem.

now wait a minute. yes there are a lot of christians that don't hate gays but i think it's a little ridiculous to rant about how gays are demonizing christians. i mean, are you joking?

gays don't hook ppl up to car batteries and torture them because we think they have to be altered to fit into our society. i know, i know, not a lot of christians do or think that but a lot of us have been tortured so maybe you could be understanding of some hard feelings between our community and yours. never mind the 'gay agenda' and all the other propaganda that comes from some of the followers of your faith. if christians were worried about gays not liking them, they would comdenm the hatred that comes from within their own community. instead you come here and condemn our reaction not to you specifically, but to the community that you associate yourself with. regardless of your actions or beliefs, the christian community HAS treated gays badly, so if you don't like it, go condemn the members of your faith that do hate us and not members of the gay community that have had enough.
Brulesrules001BTW, who cares about gay marriage. The only thing that happens when your married is you realize how much you hate your life and your partner takes half your money. Your lucky that you cant legally make that mistake.

oh sorry, i guess all the rights that christians fight to deny us, instead of demanding them we should stop caring about them and accept that we're somehow better off without the privileges that every other human being is afforded. we're just dogs, afterall, we don't get to have the same rights as other ppl.

DoomsDayAlpaca's horrid life is almost entirely a result of his hatred of the capitalist system and perceived victim status in society as a result of his college major in Rascism Studies.

I think the best part about you is your outlook on life, now stick with me because I truly mean this.

You have such incredible ignorance that when something conflicts with your ideology you simply make things up, like out of thin air. It's like you are some kind of mental magician in that you just make shit appear as if its reality for yourself. The best part is not only do you believe this stuff...I bet you think you're intelligent too don't you?
