My buddy sent this to me this morning and I had to pass it on after reading about the girl who go fired from her job after she blasted her boss on FB and he read it, LOL

"These days, with Facebook, LinkedIn,Twitter, etc, it seems instead of having a 'self-deprecating humor' people today have a 'self-defecating humor'. Humor that ---while funny online--- will come back and crap all over your career!"

i have seen this happen too many times to people i know... facebook, bebo and all these social websites where people literally broadcast their every thought, facet of their private life.... it just doesnt make sense to me to put so much private and personal info out there for complete strangers to access or your possible employer when applying for jobs/ or your actual employer at any time...

ill stick to email and texting my friends anyway

Another acquaintance just lost a job interview because of what she posted to FB while in the Caribbean. icon_rolleyes.gif
You'd think the message would have gotten out by now not to do this....after all, the word about the latest Ashton Kutcher or Lindsay Lohan brouhaha gets around the world in a New York second.....
