Who here is willing to join in this fight?

At least she's consistent--she's against abortion, because it's killing of potential lives. So no masturbation (or at least no onanism or ejaculation). But who has the necessary self control every time? icon_razz.gif

Borowitz does satirical pieces, somewhat like the Onion does, but without their elaborate video productions. Another of his pieces on that same page was:

Rabid Dog Briefly Mistaken for Tea Party Candidate
Receives Standing Ovation at Missouri Rally

But what's her stance on nocturnal emission? Gods will or the Devil at work?

Go Christine! Also, they better have a kitchen wherever she ends up if she wins or else she'll have to be shipped back home.

It's the Devil, what did you expect? Or if you want to be pseudoscientific, it's a disease:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nocturnal_emissionIn the 18th and 19th centuries, if a patient had ejaculations outside of marital intercourse, or released more semen than is typical, then he was diagnosed with a disease called spermatorrhoea or seminal weakness. A variety of drugs and other treatments, including circumcision and castration, were advised to treat this imagined "disease".[9][10] Some alternative practitioners, especially herb healers, continue to diagnose and advise treatments for cases of spermatorrhoea, but these treatments have no evidence base, and no place in mainstream medicine.

In today's Politco, O'Donnell's former staffers reveal that she's also a basket case when it comes to managing money. She would constantly buy things for the campaign that she knew she couldn't pay for, because she knew the campaign would be out of business by the time the invoices came, leaving the vendors stuck with unpaid bills. (I call that stealing.)
She couldn't afford to pay the phone bill so her office phone was turned off, then she went to relative's houses to use their phones for campaign calling.
Oh, and she repeatedly missed her mortgage payments, bailed on her college tuition expenses, and the IRS has a lien against her for unpaid taxes.

What fight? How many people here and vote in Delaware? She was democratically elected to be the GOP canidate for Delaware's senatorial seat.

She hasn't won yet, and I highly doubt a march of masturbators is going to influence democrats to get out and vote or independents to vote democrat.

    ...does not compute.

OK, so she's not as consistent as she says she is: she says, who can masturbate without lust can do so, because it's the lust that's against her values..icon_twisted.gif

This is so stupid. While she is clearly not a good candidate for office she has never suggested LEGISLATING against masturbation. Believing something is "wrong" according to opinion or religious belief and legislating against it are two different things.

I glad these masturbators could finally come together. One is the loneliest number.

Um, some counterexamples are Proposition 8, Prohibition and the Hyde Amendment.

It's stupid to be anti-masturbation for any reason, religious or otherwise.

The problem with everyone making fun of her for this is because it's from some 15 year old video she did in her 20s. I sincerely doubt she will ever bring this up in public again, surely not on the floor of the Senate.

Also, there are worse things she could do. Like publicly spread rumors that her Republican opponent is gay. Which she did.

Doesn't matter if you think it's stupid or not. "Stupid" is relative. The only thing that matters are her policies, not her personal beliefs. Is waiting until you are married to have sex "stupid"? I'm sure some people think so but others believe it's the right thing to do. Yet, I doubt anyone is going to be legislating anything of this nature any time soon.

I'm not aware of the rumors she spread about her opponent?

I'm too lazy to find the video clip, but she's also come out strong for legislating morality (specifically wanting to reduce AIDS research and care funding, while upping research funding for heart disease).

I could see this crackpot trying to introduce a bill about masturbation.

Oh, right, I forgot about that. AIDS patients shouldn't be called "victims" because "it's their lifestyle" that's the problem. And funding AIDS research is just endorsing promiscuous gay sex.

Blah blah blah, she's a moron.

And she DID make subtle gay suggestions about Mike Castle. Google it.
