I'm not liking how Aussie actor Chris Hemsworth looks with his long blond wig for his upcoming role as the Marvel Comics superhero character Thor.
He appeared very hot and macho in A Perfect Getaway (2009), in which he looked rough, tough, virile, and badass when shirtless, with that buff body (polished in oil), facial hair, and beautiful eyes.

    His stare and facial hair:

He's ridiculously hot. I would watch him read the phone book.

I was a few hundred feet away from him at the San Diego Comic Con and stopped almost dead in my tracks—he's even better looking in person.

I will watch anything that Natalie Portman makes, I want to marry her! I truly loved her in, well, everything she does: from Garden State, to SNL, to CLOSER (loved that fucking movie), and of course V for Vendetta!!!

Saw some shots on other sites. He looks good, but hopefully, it won't look cheesy in its god-like grandeur scenes. I always thought that a character like Thor would be hard to pull off in a movie without major CGI.

So true! He can shift my stick anytime. Ditto for his brother, Liam...

Really getting psyched for this and captain america. I think the casting in this movie has been perfect and the trailer that I saw a bit back looked promising. and hopefully they dont screw these characters up and the Avengers movie delivers. As a hard core silver age fan of the comics its going to be tough to satisfy me though as long as they keep the Avengers stuff away from the awful Ultimates stuff.

I have a friend at work who is very excited as well. I look forward to Thor and Capt. America and the Avengers movies. I'll probably watch them twice. Once for the fan boy in me and next to critique. But this guy playing Thor does look hot with shorter hair and facial stubble.

Btw I'm back to the bronze age in some comics and working my way to the silver ages. Yay.!!!!

    the guy is hot...

but yeah, I don't know about a blond wig and a silly helmet lol.

you know, the thunder god Thor in nordic mythology is described as red haired and bearded, I guess the creator of the marvel comic missed that.
here he is in a danish comic called Valhalla.

You know I think I remember hearing the same thing. But I think it's all in the advertising. What sells. And I guess in this case it was a smooth chested, blond haired Thor.
