I don't care too much for remakes. Most of the remakes in the past few years have been awful. But I do think Valley Girl would be an obvious choice to remake.

The movie "Deadly Blessing" should be either remade or at least have a sequel. I liked that movie alot, though the ending was a bit weird. And if they did a remake or sequel, they could have Sharon Stone do a cameo, as she was in the original.

    E.T
    The Terminator
    Back to the future
A Nightmare on Elm Street was remade right?...didn't see it yet
    Ghostbusters

movies like Stand by me, Lost in America, Rising Arizona, One upon a time in America, Return of the Jedi etc. should never be remade. Leave them they way they are, awesome movies, could never be remade at their true value.

While I agree with the quoted, if I'm playing along I'd choose The Lost Boys and Beaches.

agree. completely. when i saw the TRON script and read it it's the worst. leave the 80"s as they are, don't reinvent anything.

Ok I'm gonna name a few: but w/ fair warning - I don't think they should be remade cuz the originals stand alone as GREAT films: however, I'd be curious about ....

    The Breakfast Club

    Valley Girl

    The Last American Virgin

    oh.....

& The Slumber Party Massacre icon_cool.gif

Yes - HEATHERS (if they kept all the social statements of the original) would be a VERY VERY ballsy choice!

Oh......one more: *NOT* that it can be topped by any means - 'cuz it IS a fav o' mine personally - but if they redid the story to 1985's THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE PART 2.

& keep the soundtrack w/ OINGO BOINGO, The Cramps, Concrete Blonde, etc.

    Like that'd ever happen! heh
