bennyboo saidSo the other day...i was trying to get something from on top of the fridge at my moms house.... and my moms saids out of no more... dam you need to start going to the gym your getting fat.... So i said your so lucky i have good self esteem or id go cut my wrist my right now.....lol..... I thought your moms were to tell you that your beatiful not tell you your fat and ive only gained 15 pounds which is i dont think is a lot but appently going from a 30 to a 32 is like a huge differene because everyone at work also tells me that my ass has gotten a whole lot bigger.... but i thought that was a good thing
I went something similar with my Dad, he actually had not seen me in 4 years due to we being in opposite coasts, I had a very challenging job and actually had gained a lot of weight, not going to the gym, etc. When he saw me he could not believe it because in his mindset and concern as a parent, they always visualize their kids the last time they saw you. Additionally, in our family we had always been very active in sports. I explained my job and situation and he was understanding, but overall he wanted for me to take care of myself...so I saw it more of a healthy criticism and concern rather than putting me down. In essence, when I got back to the West Coast, I prioritized my goals and work schedule. When I went last year to visit him, he could not believe the progress and the change, so I would take it as a concern parent that is all.
