All he does is posts links to articles...[/quote]
Yes , he rounds up interesting bits of information from various sites looking for things that might be something stimulating to talk about. He points us to it, makes a comment to start something then , lets it go.
(My only suggestion is he actually just paste in the story and credit it than post the link. The readers prefer it, I found, from when I filled the same kind of function on another site.)
Trev, if it helps you, think of it as metta puts together a morning general interest news magazine show. He brings up subjects and puts it out there for OUR entertainment. Some stories will have good buzz, occasionally you pick a dud.
He is a presenter (an actual job title that Brits recognise - our equivalent is a TV host).
if you do not like his "show" there is absolutely nothing - ZERO - stopping you launching your own "rival show" if you do not the content he chooses to present.)
But I will warn you, doing it is a lot of WORK - you are constantly scouring the net, finding fun bits, and trying to pick a good line-up for the day. Sometimes you pick one that goes nowhere and it turns into a dud - no one has anything to say.
It is "The View" only you get to be on the panel.
But just like Barbara gets the recognition for doing the work:
