... and I don't have any broken bones just a scrape on my elbow.

It was with a guy who I met off the internet. He turned out to be a great guy. He asked if I want to do some wall-climbing on our next 'date'.

Yikes. I said yes, what am I letting myself in for?

Has anyone done wall-climbing? I want to do roller blading again, it's fun.

I'd like to do wall climbing, but never have. I like to go rollerblading in the summer time at the park by the lake.

I love wall climbing! I used to do it a lot when I was younger, but haven't had the chance to do it in years. Although now that I live in the mountains I have gone boulder climbing during some hikes.

I tried wall climbing before I started working out, and it was THE MOST frustrating thing ever. I think I was too tall and too weak. icon_cry.gif

Indoor rock climbing is a lot of fun -- just know that your feet will be a little sore from the shoes (purposely one size too small). Otherwise, you should enjoy yourself.

Maybe you two should try a trapeze class at the Circus Space in London www.thecircusspace.com -- I took classes here in Toronto on & off for years. Although I have had to give it up due to recurrent injuries, it was a lot of fun.

We're going wall climbing on Saturday.

I think he may actually be trying to kill me. You know, hasn't the guts to dump me so is taking the easy route. Well, I'll show him.

Well, I'm still alive. There were four of us who went wall climbing. It fantastic fun, I thought I'd be scared but I wasn't (well, ok, a little bit).

But it was good, and then we went for a meal and then he invited me back for a ahem coffee....

A couple of weekends ago I went to a Roller Disco. It was my first time on roller skates ever. Needless to say I made a complete fool of myself falling over 50+ times throughout the night. However, I had a blast. I have 3 weeks to learn how to keep my balance before the next Roller Disco night.

I always wanted to learn but never did. I'm thinking of training myself on how to do it. We'll see what happens. I may actually survive it and do ok. Never know what will happen. I'll keep you all posted on it when the weather in Chicago gets warmer and better (and if the city will ever fix all the potholes).

You need to be in good shape to able to climb efficiently; what surprised me most was that your legs do most of the work not the arms otherwise your forearms just seize up.
