I really hated him at the beginning of the season when he started crying because he didn't have any friends. But over the last couple of episodes he has really opened up, especially today! Plus, he really is the best designer this season!

And... Michael has a son, WTF???

So what if Michael has son. You act surprised. He's been saying he has a son since day one.

I love Mondo. With people like him and Jack Mackenroth, who also disclosed his HIV status on Runway a couple years ago, maybe the stigma will ebb a little bit. I think that if people are less afraid to get tested and know their status, then there will be less unwitting transmission out there. With less stigma associated with it, maybe people with HIV will be less afraid to speak openly about it and people without HIV will be more willing to listen and be educated on the matter. I think the more communication there is, the better everyone will be for it.

He's definitely an amazing designer and such a brave soul. I got a little teary eyed last night as he courageously revealed his personal secret, My best friend is HIV+ and we were watching it together, so the whole situation made me get a little emotional.

Very commendable and the symbolism in his last creation was just awesome.

    Yay Mondo!

Yeah, and I think he's gay, right? He definitely is a cutie!

Mondo has really grown on me, his clothes are very smart. I love the bright colors & bold patterns!

I was surprised by his revelation, the way the runway tv ad ran I thought Mondo was accused of cheating!

    Very brave!

I really don't listen to anything that comes out of Michael's mouth. The guy annoys the shit out of me. I'm not surprised that a gay man has a son, I know gay men who have kids... I was just surprised that HE had a son.

Love the show, but rarely have I been moved by it, until this episode. What an inspiration Mondo is, and I wish I could live half as bravely as he does. Love his personality, his humility, and most of all his bad-ass design aestheic. Wow!

Top 3 for fashion week are going to be......

    MONDO, APRIL and BLEECH........

    GRETCHEN!

Regarding Mondo...I hope he stays consistent and wins. I can honestly say that in the many years of watching the show I think his "style" is so much more unique and visionary than anyone else.

    MONDO MONDO MONDO!

I love Mondo, and don't doubt his sincerity and honesty coming clean like that. That being said, it was a brilliant PR move on his part, and this pretty much cinches his future win (we already had Mondo the consistent and forward-thinking designer, and now we have Mondo the relatable human being). I will say that I do like Gretchen. But I'm always a fan of the bitch of the show.

I don't mean to hijack the thread but my favorite runway moments have been the earlier Gretchen vs. Michael Costello cat fights. They first painted Michael as such a wimp....but later on his true colors came out . MEOW.

I like Mondo's personal sense of style. If I could pull off at least his hair.

However, I love Gretchen for riling up pretty much the entire blogosphere and all Project Runway message boards.

I wouldn't mind Gretchen if she had the talent to back up her mouth. She spends way too much time talking about and worrying about the other designers.

I dunno, she's kinda understated but I like her as a designer. Andy has gone down SO much for me.
