Perhaps a moment of national outrage would be more appropriate. This is really disturbing.

Perhaps we should all just commit to a non stop write-in / phone-in campaign against Andrew Shirvell until he is fired.

If ever there was a poster boy for bullying, he is it. What makes this sadder is that Mike Cox is allowing it because he agrees with Andrew Shirvell on his position. We really should not let this go, as it goes to the heart of the issue that caused these other boys to take their own lives.

Andrew will face a disciplinary review when he returns from his paid leave of absence. Write-in and make sure that Mike Cox knows that this man should be fired.

I have called and sent email every day since I learned about it.

Did anyone see him on Anderson Cooper this week?

I think he is legitimately mentally disturbed. He seems really off. I'm just glad the young man he's tormenting is a strong-willed person. Apparently, he got a restraining order, which is smart.

thanks for posting the Dr. Phil clip.

FINALLY, he talks about gay people, and it's in an empathetic way.

I agree with you. The video was posted by CuriousJock earlier during the week: http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/1162668
