I am talking about these people whose first posting is a multi-paragraph screed on their personal relationship problems. We never had this until recently. How are these people finding RJ and thinking "ah, let my first posting to these strangers be my most personal, intimate problem." Is RJ being listed somewhere as the place to barf?

and really, considering the number of good looking yet still single guys on here...ummm....maybe this isnt the best place to get relational advice. Just saying.

Be glad they're doing that. It makes it easier to find the guys NOT to date. icon_wink.gif

Have to agree ... quite a few of them seem contrived to me

Most of them are so similar in content and the OP usually has no pics, so I suspect alot of them are one and the same person.

I am not certain how I got here. I think I googled or something and it led me here. I really do feel like the information has helped me out...

For most people who post as "nameless/faceless" individuals it's a way for them to get the advice they need without coming out or anything. It's easier than asking personal stuff to a doctor/friend/family who might judge them differently. When you first join, you don't know the people here... so It's like getting help from ask.com, but with actual people answering.

This is the "Web MD" of being G/Bi.

I know they say that if you don't have your life in order you shouldn't be handing out advice, but the opposite could easily be said for some of the guys here.
