    WOW! Total sensory over-load!
I ran in the 5K this AM and did "so-so"time wise.....felt OK though. The "show" started today at 10AM, ends at 4PM....OMFG! HOT! GUYS! BUILT! DAMN!...too many people! And lots of "freebies"....T-shits, supplements and samples....GOT to Shake hands with ARNOLD at the start of the run! Got to meet and got photo with and signed by Lou Ferrigno---"THE INCREDIBLE HULK"...Too many sports to even begin to touch on.....lots of power lifters and body builders....etc. Great time!
Only complaint.....with so many people crammed in, some gross bastards just flat shit themselves in a crowd and we are all stuck "enjoying" what they had to eat a few hours ago! I thought my hair was going to fall out...and some poor little girl actually puked because of the BAD SMELL! It was stinky, but I though I was going to fall over, laughing over that!LOL!icon_lol.gif
I need to hit the gym for some pool time!

Hey, sporty, Hehehe, I'm not surprised. It's so totally American -- to take a great idea like excersizing and being healthy, and commercializing the SH*T out of it!!

But, it sounds like you had fun ;D

I make a habit of trying to avoid the Arnold Classic as much as humanly possible. So much so that this weekend every year I find myself driving a different route to work just to avoid the traffic.

It's something that's cool to go to once, I just don't get all the big hype about it. I stopped by Friday to say hey to a friend of mine who was exhibiting in it, but other than that kept my distance.

One of my brothers was there. He showed me all the loot he got from the thing... sounds like it was fun.

I went... i was bored this year. It was meat heads, people who want to look at meat heads, and a FEW (very few) TRULY physically fit people.

Prices were higher than normal (more than likely because of the cost of transporting stuff).

    Oh well... i went LOL
