I just spent 30hours working on a project and it means a lot to do something that I was proud of. It involved working 16 hours with no breaks, meals or sleep.
I bitch sometimes that I want to change jobs, and it's hard on my partner but I thrive on what I do. Do you?
I took a hobby and made it a career. Do I get compensated the way I should, no! but who does.
I think that is one thing that the Gay community has over the straight is the passion we put to everything.

I'm in the airline field and I have to say I really love what I do. There is so much empowerment and flexibility. A heads up to you that travel. Treat your ticket counter and gate agents nice, they are your advocates when attempting to make exceptions and bring fair and just solutions. ;-)

All of my colleagues are pretty passionate about what we do. I'm the only gay one. I think this is why we all get along so much.
