het guys i just finished 2 months of gaining muscle and have gained a good amount but i think its time to cut some of the fat off that i gained with it. I was wondering what you guys do to cut the fat when you are doing a toning phase. Do you up your cardio, cut your calories, or both. I was just wondering the best way to cut the fat but retain my hard earned muscle. Im sure this has been discussed but thought id ask anyway. Thanks guys for you advise

Yeah, I could use this advice too, being in the same condition. I am still drinking cold water and riding my bike to the beach, but I have gained back my little layer of fat around my tummy.icon_sad.gif This is a constant battle.

Depends on the kind of metabolism you guys have
When I do a lot of cardio I tend to lose muscle mass too
so I basically depend on cutting fat and carbs out and that gets me down usually to where I wanna be

You can't avoid doing two things to get "cut" as they say
first is to bring down the % of body fat
through diet and exercise (mostly cardio)
the second is bringing down some retained water
this is mostly temporary and you need to be careful about doing to much
and it's accomplished by cutting carbs
