As anyone in Washington State knows, we had a Supreme Court case on gay marriage back in 2006 (Anderson v. King County).

There were a flurry of opinions, one of which implied that gays and lesbians shouldn't be able to marry because their relationships are less stable than straights, that it would be akin to polygamy, and that we are not discriminated against because we can marry people of the opposite gender.

One of the people who signed that opinion, who is running for re-election this year...apparently has no problem divorcing, and has no problem with a polyamorous lifestyle (or infidelity, for that matter).
