Alright, so i havent even started to work out yet, but I am going to the gym for the first time tomorrow. I started to eat more since im pretty skinny, well average skinny looking and Ive been atleast 2000 calories a day. Most of it is protein from eggs and chicken and alittle bit of rice and beans and some vegetables. So Ive gained about 3 pounds from that, and I was wondering do I keep on the same track and eat 2000 calories or eat alittle more since I feel more hungrier all of a sudden. I can eat more than 2000 calories now and not feel hungry at all. Also, what should I focus on when I go to the gym since im trying to gain weight, since ive been pretty skinny average all mylife and want to get in shape. Do I just focus on my upper half and not worry about the bottom or do them at the same time? Also, should I take any supplements that might help me gain weight faster? Any suggestions on any supplements?

    Thanks.

Eat. Save your money for the grocery store.

Eat more, especially try to eat more protein (beans and rice are cheap, a complete protein and cruelty free). Don't count calories, just eat.

Squats will add muscle mass to your body more quickly than any other exercise. Ask someone at the gym how to do them if you don't know how.
