    The Gaza Bombshell
"After failing to anticipate Hamas’s victory over Fatah in the 2006 Palestinian election, the White House cooked up yet another scandalously covert and self-defeating Middle East debacle: part Iran-contra, part Bay of Pigs. With confidential documents, corroborated by outraged former and current U.S. officials, David Rose reveals how President Bush, Condoleezza Rice, and Deputy National-Security Adviser Elliott Abrams backed an armed force under Fatah strongman Muhammad Dahlan, touching off a bloody civil war in Gaza and leaving Hamas stronger than ever.

I know that I should be shocked...but I am just not that surprised by this.

It still makes me want to throw up in response to the incredible twists of "logic" that take place in the current White House. They are more headache-inducing than Super Mario Galaxy icon_eek.gif

Then again, this plan supports the idea of the Bush administration as old school supporters of democracy; i.e. supporting democratic movements to the extent the elected persons support the USA.

How much longer will we have to wait for a president to *not* engage in "democratic" hypocrisy? Only one of our current potential candidates seems to have the political record amenable toward this, though that may be because he doesn't have a lengthy political record. icon_rolleyes.gif

American politician's should keep there nose out of other countries business once and for all as they always seem to make a "COCK UP" of everything they do?
