I'm considering visiting C-K-J next summer before hopping on the TransSiberian (via Mongolia) towards the beginning of Fall. I have relatives in Korea [I'm Korean American] so I'll probably stay there the longest.

Any recommendations? How is it to be gay in those 4 cities? Do the bars accept foreigners, etc, etc.?

It would be nice to hear from those who have lived in northeast Asia within the past five years.

Beijing, Destination club on Gong Ti Xi Lu. Mind you, I call it Desperation clubicon_smile.gif There was an underground techno gay friendly club WHITE RABBIT, dunno what happened to that place. Also, couple of gay saunas, google them.

Shanghai rocks, many gay places, forgot their names, but just google gay shanghai. Chinese gay pride is held in Shanghai.

Tokyo, I have a good friend living there over 10 years, and there is a whole gay area with flats, rooms, clubs, bars, etc. Google it.

    Korea no ideaicon_smile.gif

Thank you! For some reason, no one I've spoken to has any idea about Korea
