Pink on Her Gay Marriage Video - Raise Your Glass

    [quote]
The video for "Raise Your Glass" will celebrate both marriage equality and "the underdog," declares the pop star. The idea for the video came after Pink attended her best friend's same-sex wedding.

I think she's just trying to compete with Lady Gaga for the gays, because they've all flocked to her.

No, she isn't. She is just a good person.

I knew when I saw the title that I wouldnt have to scroll far before seeing a post from some fucking idiot accusing her of trying to be like your all powerful goddess gaga. icon_rolleyes.gif

Sorry to burst your bubble but there were gay advocates long before gaga was something other than a baby noise. And that definitely includes Pink, who was one of the first celebs firing off about gay marriage YEARS AGO.

Not everything is a competition, and Pink most certainly isnt hurting for fans, so she doesnt need to come up with a gimmick to trap them, or gain attention.

To the deleted itsmourning post, as a gay man are you seriously gonna complain about too many people promoting gay people positively in the mainstream media? Hell, any amount of positive promotion in mainstream music is fantastic. Even though I feel some people may be using us to boost their image, I'm still not going to complain about the exposure.
