    Hi Every One

So I'm having a little problem with lower body exercises, and the main one that really bothers me is my butt. I really want to enhance its size but I really don't know if what I'm doing is right. I do weighted squats.....Any Ideas???

If you're trying to make your butt bigger, stop working out and eat more. Getting a desk job helps, too.
If you're trying to make your butt smaller, eat healthier and workout more.

I think we'll need to see it before any valuable advice can be given.

GO DEEP on your squats, and heavy.
Deadlifts, lunges and lying leg curls help too.
    And of course, proper form.
    Good luck! icon_biggrin.gif

drop 20 pounds of fat and gain 10 pounds of muscle, then see if your butt needs to be bigger. proportionally, it may already be.

you might want to add lunges with dumbells done in perfect form. they are brutally fun!

idk man.. any time I've posed this question to someone who's in shape, AND has an awesome butt, they've told me they were just born with it. I've heard the same thing about squats, biking, basically making that muscle bigger. But sometimes you're just missin the genes I guess... icon_sad.gif

I agree with most of the people above,

squats lunges, dead lifts, with sets of 8-10 3 to 5 sets

you can also do a jumping plyo workout without weights.

then when doing cardio stick to do 1 min hard 1 min easy or something like this So don't jog but sprint, Doing stairs you do this naturally as you sprint up and go down easy

Apart from the exercises, genetics is a lot of it.

If you had a big butt 40 pounds ago, then you know where it came from and you do not want to go back there.

Bustles went out a while back.

What I've noticed is that the guys on bodybuilding.com who have asses more like Patrick Kerney (see video below) usually deadlift and squat twice a week. I've tried that myself and so far it's working for me.

If you come out of a leg workout without a burning butt, you aren't doing enough butt exercises.

I see too many guys focus on the upper body and not enough on the lower half. They only want to work the sexy muscles. But the bottom half is a whole half and it has to be worked out.

I've found a good effective squat and press really do wonders. Once I had a gym with a reverse booty press (what is the technical name for this thing?) and I found that to be very effective.

Also, big butt is maybe a misnomer. You want a shapely butt, but a big butt? Meh.

Yup, though sometimes DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) starts two days later.

I've also seen guys who are a number of times bigger than me in the upper body and much smaller than me on the lower half.
