Anyway, back on the topic... good luck with your recovery man. I'm still recovering from my shoulder surgery back in September. Mine is very different from yours (I had bone spurs removed), but saw others who were healing from cuff tears and slap repairs. All I can say is "DO YOUR PHYSICAL THERAPY AS PRESCRIBED, AND KEEP GOING AS LONG AS YOU CAN"! I was in PT from the second week on for about 3 and a half months (until my benefits ran out at the end of the year, and the new deductible kicked in). I went twice a week regardless of whether I was having a good shoulder day or bad shoulder day.
Thanks to that routine, I have almost 100% range and strength in my shoulder. Sure I have some cranky shoulder days...but I'm back playing tennis and doing almost everything normally. And I don't think I would have this level of rehab success without having done that.
