Idol contestant David Hernandez used to strip fully nude at a gay bar in Phoenix. Looks like Idol's going to let him stay.

Good thing, too, because he's a great singer, I think he's very cute, and he has a nice body. And for some reason, David Archuleta irritates me. Don't get me wrong, he had a great week last week. But I'm rooting for the stripper now.

I agree. So what if he is a stripper. I say kudos to him. Flaunt it if you got it and he's a really good singer too. That's just like what happened to that one chick in like the 3rd season of "Idol". I think it was this black chick and she had done some online porn back in the day and they booted her because of it and she had a really good voice too. It was totally unfair.

I agree that they should be judged on their singing, and I think the big deal is the precedent they set in the season when they ousted Frenchie. Perhaps there's a difference between pictures and dancing. So, I guess I'll have to take it on myself to search xtube to see if he's on there.

I haven't been paying attention to AI since my grandma got me into it during the first or second season but ever since i read about this i think i will go back to watching and voting. I support all my fellow gay strippers...haha.

David is kinda a snob, why I don't know him personally. Some of my Phoenix friends are livid that the owner of Dicks Caberet "outed" him.
It's a shame David hasn't outed himself for TV.

Hell, I auditioned for the show in Philly. I was ready to go foward, sing whatever and not deny, but not flaunt my sexuality. I wanted my sexuality to be as important as my hairstyle. Just something that was there, but not being used as for a gimic or publicity. Concidered coming out a bit later like Melissa Etheridge or Madonna, but make it like 'a matter of fact'; rather than, 'did you hear about my new sexuality?'

Regardless of the contestants pasts and whatever they did; I'm still voting on talent and personality. David Archuleta, though another simple package of a boy band member out of time, is the best contestant so far.

He's hot!

I say we all band together and keep voting him in.
