    My Brother was the only person I had a hard time telling. He is the only person in my family that I knew would have a hard time dealing with it and he did of course. He never said anything bad, but I found out years later from his wife that he had a really hard time with it. Funny though, he knew it all along, but he just didn't want there to ever come a day when I would actually say it!
    We don't talk about "it" even to this day. (15yrs later) Every once in a while he makes some snide remark or off color joke that gets his feelings across. If it were anyone else I would be really offended, but with him I know he is dealing with it the only way he knows how and that is cool with me.
    vetteset is right;
    "you'll do fine brother, if the time and circumstances are right, the words will flow.....take it slow and with love.....it will come back to you......." well said!

    How did it go?
    if you ever need someone to talk to:

    Comunidad Gay Sampedrana in San Pedro Sula is Honduras’s oldest LGBT organization (they have organized an annual pride march since 2001), and it shares office space with the lesbian-rights organization Mujer Sin Límite.

    Activist groups include Grupo Prisma (tel. 504/232-8342, prisma@sdnhon.org.hn) and Colectivo Violeta (tel. 504/237-6398, alfredo@optinet.hn), both in Tegucigalpa

    All the best on your disclosure to your brother. I went throught the same thing with my older brother. I do not know how close you twoare but my brother already suspected. Not because of anythingI did, he found out 12 yrs ago at X-mass time. I put all the gay cards away but he noticed that 95 per-cent of my card's where from guy's. He was surprisingly cool with it. But realisticly he did not through a party either. Good luck be positive things will work out.icon_biggrin.gif

    it went amazing! I've been smiling ever since. at first he asked kind of awkard questions like: gay how? lol then he undermine the topic as he does with everything (so it was a normal reaction on him) seriously you could tell him WWIII is here and he would just say: really?

    we grabbed lunch and talked about it, he apparently has many gay friends, who knew! he has more than I do! and now things are just normal

    funny thing, latter i cheked twitter and Ellen says its coming out day (well on monday) I took it as a sign it was the right time icon_smile.gif

    Best of luck to you, but I would not put anything on Facebook, at least not for a while!
