So much for Obama being the pro-gay president!

Anyone who thought he would is a fool, and anyone who voted him in with the thought he would give them advancement is a bigger fool. But history repeats it's self. The liberals of Germany once helped put a man named Hitler into power, with the promise and hope of advancement. Then the night of the long knives put an end to all of that.

Obama is so slow and incompetent. That and the Republicans cock-block legislation. It really shows that he's not good at bringing congress together. He's just as ineffectual as the previous president when it comes to engendering bipartisanship.

And aunty_jack, can you really blame us? It was either Obama and his eloquent speeches promising nothing, or Sarah Palin and her exorcisms, shooting deer from a helicopter, saying "I'm just like you," and all around being the last person that should ever be close to the White House. I knew Obama's speeches were outright specious, but I knew Palin was outright mentally retarded.

A couple of questions for you:

In what US elections have you ever voted? Are you even a US citizen, to be preaching to us about our political system?

What history books say that Hitler was brought to power by liberals? All the ones I've read say it was the right-wing, the military, the industrialists and the unemployed rabble that put Hitler into office. And that the political enemies of the Nazis were the left wing liberals, who were promptly eradicated once Hitler controlled Germany.

Ummmm.... You don't seem to mind when Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum, er, I mean "meninlove" constantly "preach" to us about our political system.

Oh yeah.... it's ok when they do it because they have the same looney liberal views as you do.

Speaking of off-topic ad hominem attacks, I just saw your A4A profile and laughed my ass off.

    *looks at SB's pic*

    Oh, wake up.

"Although Obama opposes the law, a Justice Department spokeswoman said that the administration was defending the statute because it was obligated to defend federal laws when challenged in court.

"As a policy matter, the President has made clear that he believes DOMA is discriminatory and should be repealed," said Justice Department spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler. "The Justice Department is defending the statute, as it traditionally does when acts of Congress are challenged."

You are correct SB1500. Just as if I was sprouting the liberal propaganda, it would also be deemed acceptable. But in fact living with an American for 20 years has in fact given me a say, in voting, because maybe he voted for me, and that would mean I have participated.

I also over the past month have donated to American politics too.icon_wink.gif

Also if America gets a cold, it can infect the rest of the world, and turn into influenza. There fore we outside of America have a right to an opinion of American politics, as it can well effect us too.

Sorry, you apparently are not allowed to comment on topics about the USA.

    That, from "Art_Deco".... icon_lol.gif

Thats right if he allows foreigners like meninlove a say but deny I one, is this not supporting discrimination?

Sad that it "seems" so many gay liberals of America only support freedom of speech, when it is them talking, yet everyone else should be repressed. Maybe they should move to Cuba, or China.

It's legal process. You ultimately want the legislative body to repeal the law. It's still all good as this is a procedural tactic the will force action by the notoriously slow legislative branch.

The whole idea of putting individuals in positions of increased power through bigger government to do the citizens "good", is a fundamentally "liberal" agenda -- exchanging freedom for security and ending up with neither. Hitler was an extreme case, Castro is a milder one and Obama has a tendency to lean in that direction.
