http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/10/13/glenn-beck-talks-about-me_n_761408.htmlOn his radio show Wednesday, Beck stressed that "I'm not dying," but said the doctors had uncovered several troubling medical issues.

The doctors told him he had a medical condition called small fiber neuropathy, which damages nerves near the skin and can result in occasional, but intense, flashes of pain. Beck said they were unsure about what was causing the condition, but told him that things could have been much worse.

They also determined that half of his vocal cords have gone into paralysis--though they thought this was due to a virus, and not to what they had feared was major nerve damage.

Beck also joked about the flurry of medical tests he had to undergo -- with needles, MRIs, PET scans and x-rays all being administered.

    1. He must have super insurance. 2 days with all these tests and specialists? It would have taken my insurance half a month to get the pre-authorizations if they would even pay for them.
    2. Um, he forgot to mention one major cause of small fiber neuropathy:
    ALCOHOLISM!icon_razz.gif
    3. The virus was smeared on his cup by a Democrat operative. Or maybe there's a God after all.

I think I recall you said you were in the medical profession. Is that so? Does the above statement (#3) indicate you rejoice in someone's illness?

No, I was just trying to guess what his and his detractors' hypotheses would have been. I certainly think it was karma. Why would a virus attack, of all things, his vocal cords? Maybe he was talking too much. icon_razz.gif
Besides, it's only a virus, and they tend to improve over time. Unlike alcoholism.

Yeah, he has made a career of finding conspiracies where there are none. Why, even Donald Duck is in the grand conspiracy.

That is what #3 referred to, I thought.
