If so, how did you guys determine what event marked the anniversary date?

Date you met? First kiss? First roll in the hay?

    Curious......

Well, weirdly enough, we don't have an official anniversary of when we asked each other to be boyfriends, but we ended up marking it as our first date, Friday the 13th of 2008 when we went to see Friday the 13th. Hahaha.

And yes, we celebrate since the following day is Valentine's and we do both at once, so we do it big and then get it over with with nice meals throughout the day and adventurous stuff in-between.

well in my last relationship we did celebrate our anniversary... we were going to sue the day that we officially became "boyfriends" but decided to go with the date of our first date instead because it was way more romantic lol.

Our anniversary is when we decided to be in a relationship with one another and only one another. (March 11th 2001.)

Basicly we were like, so do we start keeping track from here or when? And it was from here. heh.

We don't! Don't really have a date of anything, we sort of know roughly when we decided to be boyfriends but not the exact date so there's no anniversary.

I'm not into all that stuff anyway, I think if there's a proper date of something (e.g. wedding) then fine, otherwise it's a bit cheezy.

Friday the 13th, WTF?! LOL! I don't really know an official date we decided to go steady either. Late Spring, early Summer 06? Well, we (the 'ole ball and chain and I) celebrate Valentines and late Spring Early Summer. Is that unromantic? Give me a break, love is fluid and a finite date seems trivial anyway. That's my opinion anyway! So long as you express and celebrate your love, I don't see the problem with not having a fixed significant date.
