I dont particularly like Ellen - but she commented on this so well. Two boys lives destroyed (and their families). How sad icon_sad.gif

I have always liked Ellen, one of the few talk show hosts I can actually sit down and enjoy for more than 5 minutes. A very sad, but unfortunately not very surprising occurence.icon_cry.gif North America still has a long ways to go in accepting LGBTs especially those in their teen years.

To be honest - i dont think anywhere in the world truely accepts gay teenagers and incidents such as this one.

i'm so glad ellen, or anyone openly lgbt, has an audience big and broad enough to bring this issue into american households... maybe we'll finally start getting enough traction to finally make permenant improvements...

    Seeing this, was very sad

In a time of tolerance and understanding, that we still see this happening and in a school, where tolerance and understanding should be taught every day.

    very sad

Some of the comments on the video REALLY piss me off. And the uploader has disabled commenting.

I wish those mofos choke on their straightness and die.

My hat has always been off to Ellen. I think she is a very positive light for LGBTs in general. Her statement was pure, passionate, and meaningful. The loss of the young life is so sad.

You have things like a Federal anti-gay amendment and basically guns with every Happy Meal...
    you expect maybe something different?

You think the GLBT communities have made progress in acceptance in society.. especially with younger people, then you hear something like this and it makes you wonder.

    Really sad..

    This made me sick.
When I was this kid's, Larry's age, Valentines Day was always the worst for me because I could not show my affection to the person of my choosing.
Unfortunately, as long as we teach our young men to think with their machismo and not their intellect, crimes like this will persist.
