Would you rather have them tie a band to the testicles so the blood flow is constricted until they eventually fall off?

I wish they had that thing when I was a kid. I had to do it the good old fashioned way...with a pocketknife. icon_wink.gif

It really is. I remember cringing as the soon-to-be ex-bull moo'd it's death moo because of the pain. It sounded like something out of the dinosaur movie.

I have to admit to being a complete wus on this score. I have two male dogs who should now be neutered, but I just can't bring myself to bring them to the vet to have it done. My dog-pro brain knows that neutering them is the right thing to do, but the guy part of my brain thinks it may be very, very bad karma.

If your pups are over two years old...and good kids who stay home...there's no real reason to have it done.

Except for the dogs health: Un-neutered, he may suffer from enlarged prostate later in life; tumors of the testicles, anus; hernias.
Plus neutering decreases territorial signs, i.e., 'marking' (peeing) & aggression to other dogs & humans; lowered testosterone, which causes barking, humping, wandering in search of females in heat.

But hey....keep his nuts so YOU feel better about it.

They aint never gonna get laid? wouldn't it be nicer if the poor things never got randy? take them off and they wont get horny!

I think its more cruel to leave a guy completely capable but never letting him use it then taking them off and letting the guy live a peaceful life
