I'm feeling a lot better than I did last week with the flu, but my energy level is way too low. My feet were like two concrete blocks.

You mentioned in one of the threads, that you had a game or something, and I thought to myself "what! I thought this guy had the flu"

I was going to say something, but then, I'm not your mother icon_rolleyes.gif

I'd been sick for a week and a half. I just wanted to get back to normal. icon_sad.gif

I would recommend you not go swimming in the deep end then!

A week and a half is not that long for this flu season. I think you should rest until you are completely well, otherwise you will just have setbacks.

Frankly Timberoo when I saw you post on another thread you were going to play volleyball that night I was surprised. My volleyball night is tonight and I have already e-mailed my captain I will not be there. I have had a bad chest and head cold for a week. One of the reasons it got so bad was playing volleyball last week. The dust and dirt in the gym did not help my lungs, and the next day I was really sick. It is too bad that I will miss tonight because I know we are short of players, but I am tired of being sick (I have been sick about 4 weeks so far this year) and I want to shake this thing so I can start full blown workouts again.

I'm sure you were no longer contagious, but I am always amazed at why people feel the need to push themselves to do the things they normally do when they are sick [work, gym, etc.]...

    Hope you recover quickly...
