This is a powerful video, that I feel everyone should see. A bit of a warning it is not a cheerful movie, and kleenx will most likely be needed. If there is anyone out there that needs to talk to someone, please don't hesitate at all. Remember things will get better!

    Love,
    Jon

Oh my God, Thank you for sharing this. I wish I would have waited until I was home to watch it. I am sitting at my desk crying like a baby. LOL
I felt like it was my story. I hung myself when I was 13. My dad caught me and beat the shit out of me. It was for all the same reasons, the bulling, and getting beat up every day. Having to run home from school, hoping they wouldn’t catch me. Once I got home having my brother and sister tell me what a sissy I am for running. Not having anyone I could talk to. I am so glad I failed. I am so glad I am alive and here today. My life is so good today. How can you know that when you are that young? There comes a point where you just can't take it anymore. My heart goes out to every child that is going through this and has gone through it. It has got to stop.

This is a very compelling story. I am very very fortunate, as I didn't have to go through any of this pain other people have been through. We need to get the point across to our youth that life does get better, of course I remember being 14 and not knowing what life will bring, but everyone needs to just hang on, in the end it will be worth it! It is so scary to see children go through this. Something has to be done, nobody on earth should be put through this!

It's all over Facebook and rightly so. I too made the stupid decision to watch it at work and yes, many tears!

Can we write to this guy to thank him? Anyone have an address or website/email?

Yes at the very end of the video it says his phone number, email, and facebook. I have contacted him my self to thank him for his strength which will hopefully help others.

Yeah the link on his website to Facebook is his personal facebook (which can't accept any more friends - facebook.com/joelburns1) but if you search via his name there's a Joel Burns page too that you can 'Like' and post to his wall.
