Ive been recently contacted by someone looking to find specifically gay jews and arabs to write a book about their experiences... I would like to put out a call to all the guys on here who are jewish and arab to contact me if they would like to contribute.. it may be anonymously if necessary...

Also if any other muslims (persians, kurdish, turkish, berber, uygyr, kazakh, indian, pakistani, bengali, malay, indonesian, african) who are gay or bi would like to share their experiences, we may find a place for your stories...

    Thank you i advance,

    P.A.S.

unfortunately i'm not even partially arab icon_razz.gif but this sounds really interesting. i have a very intelligent friend who's actually quite muslim and gay... he's a very liberal and intellectual guy, i always wondered how he reconciled these two identities.

The Detroit area has a very large Middle Eastern population. AL-GAMEA is an organization here that might be a good contact. And the president of the organization, Chris, is a nice guy and really hot.

One can be gay and Muslim as one can be gay and Christian or gay and Jewish or gay and animist or gay and Hindu etc.

I really don't have a lot to offer other than a couple recent experiences. I have met a 30ish Lebanese man, married with one child and one on the way.. We met for his first blow job a couple of weeks ago. It took him a long time to cum but I finally did it lol. He doesnt touch me at all. I blew his HUGE 8.5X6 uncut cock. He contacted me last nite, he came over again, I started to blow him, then flipped him over and licked his VERY tight hole till he squirmed, he said he was going to cum if I kept going. So I put him on his back, lubed up my finger, sucked his cock and finger fucked his hole, this time he came in about 3 minutes. He said "I want to be fucked but am not mentally ready".

Although I enjoy him sexually, I so enjoy him culturally. I have not been exposed to Middle Eastern men at all in my life and learning of his previous lifestyle, sex life and culture I find totally enthralling. My last experience with a Middle Easterner was back in college when I hung with an Iranian during the Iran hostage crisis.

    Thats my 2 cents...

Very strange considering arab/middle eastern muslims are cut from birth due to the faith itself

All detail the gay-Arab/Jewish coming-out tale. I have a lot more resources as this is my dissertation topic and even more than that, I am one.

Queer French has a sequel coming out too but we haven't collected enough testimonies as a lot of gay-"Beur"s will not do interviews but we are close. I also can't find any willing Lebanese people in the states to help out either.

The disclosure/enunciation factor that is incorporated in Western/"America" coming-out tales doesn't fit all cultural paradigms and forces a confrontation between dynamic cultures.

amar_m saidyeah but Pinny I appreciate those, but its not just coming out tales though.... its also for arabs and jews who DO NOT come out... but of courrse all this info is very good! Shukran!

That's the point all these books point to, "coming-out" is culturally specific and it is vastly an Anglo-saxon phenomenon. Even in France "faire le coming-out" or its bastard "sortir du placard" are almost useless. People understand it but the French mentality has never been "in the closet".

The same holds true for Middle Easterners. There is no dialog, there is no vocabulary, there isn't a way of expressing ones "gayness" if you will. We don't come out, we are just who we are. I have loads and loads of cousins or acquaintances who are gay Middle Easterners and have never once said "I am gay" in our Arab community. We know they are, we accept them but the enunciation and disclosure of a certain "sexuality" isn't a part of the cultural paradigm for Middle Easterners which is bafflingly ruled by male-dominated hetero-normativity.

More interestingly, and a subject a woman named Evelyne Accad has written on, is the link of sexuality and war. Her thought is that whenever the Middle East dialog falls outside the bounds of male hetero-centric discourse, war ensues (mainly civil or inter-Arab).

This goes along with what your friend is doing. He will find a lot of people / stories where "I am gay" was not a part of the "coming out" process. We don't come out. In fact, at my parents' church (Maronite Catholic), I am the only person "out". There are many people I know who are gay (and deal with their faith issues) but I am the only one who just says it.

    Dude read his profile:

"I am not really into guys get offended, whining, and drama really easily."

You get offended so easily. He doesn't want you.
