    Hey Nature boys,

I have a nudist friend is always trying to get me to go naked at public events with his friends. I always decline because I don't want to run in someone I know like straight friends or co-workers. What I wanna ask the nude guys is what kind of reaction do you get from crowds? Is it disgust, humor, sexual, or nothing at all. Do you get hit on more being nude most importantly?

I've gone naked at street fairs about five times. Mainly, people just check out my body which is fine with me.
I don't pay much attention, but I have noticed some people looking at me with lust in their eyes. And yes, some have hit on me, thinking that if I'm willing to go naked, then I'm easy to pick up. (Sometimes I am, sometimes I'm not.)
And I've run into straight co-workers who try to act normal, but keep sneaking in some looks. I don't care if they look or not. I'm not ashamed of my body. In fact, I have a T-shirt that says: "Look better naked."

Not sure what you mean. Going naked at "public" events is illegal in the US as far as I'm aware, although sometimes the police will overlook it. So college kids will stage naked foot races on public streets, urban bicyclists will protest for better bike lanes by a mass ride in the nude, etc. But I wouldn't break the law or offend other people who weren't interested in seeing naked bodies in public.

I do go to public nude beaches, and have belonged to gay naturist clubs. But those are easy, because everyone else (or nearly everyone on a beach) is naked, too, so I find it kinda like a big locker room. And I'm not shy in locker rooms.

The only time I have been uncomfortable is when my last gay nudist club would hold monthly events, that sometimes included a private night at a health club. In order to make closing the doors to the public more profitable for the owners there would also be a straight naturist club participating along with us, that included women.

I didn't mind the women seeing me naked, that was their free choice. But their own bare bodies were something I really didn't care to know about. For some reason I've always felt that's a sight I'm not supposed to see, and I'm glad that about half the females at the nude beach I visit only go topless and wear a bottom piece. (BTW, IAW standard nudist etiquette, all surfaces our bodies touched on the exercise equipment were covered with towels)

You can barely be shirtless in public where I live, let alone naked.
