Not that anyone should care but I have been working out for about 18 months and eating appropriate calories for muscle growth for about a year. Well....... big, straight guys that I have known since joining my first gym 22 months ago have come up to me several times this month to tell me how big I've gotten since I first joined. On two occasions guys have walked over to me from across the room just to tell me I'm getting bigger.

This is a big deal to me because I am a hard gainer and slow grower. It takes me about a year to see any noticable progress. I've grown quite a bit since the summer when I hit the gym harder and increased my weight. Sorry If I sound like I'm bragging but this is just a mile stone in my development I just had to share with somebody.

Big congratulations are in order. It's a real incentive to keep going at it. Even the somewhat similar " you're in great shape for an older guy" type comments I've had, few as they are, are an incentive.

I don't normally chat with folks at the gym much at all but I have done likewise in a few cases with guys who I have seen working out faithfully making slow and noticeable changes because you know in the vast majority of cases,, most gym goers never stick to it or make any gains. imho. Same goes for the fat guys trying to lose.. so many go but nothing happens,, but there's always that one or two that never give up and it feels good to be recognized for it.

Fantastic - well done. it takes real determination to achieve what you have - but please, if I may say so, don't forget the CV work .

Everyone is a hard gainer. For people dealing with losing fat, nobody is an easy loser. We're just homosapiens. You are what you eat.
