Site might be a little slow as its getting a lot of traffic...but the information under the "Data" tab is just incredible. A little time on google and the facade of the tea party falls apart. The "Main" part, Freedom Works which is run by Dick Armey and is always int he news is actually one of the SMALLEST groups.

Meanwhile the bigger ones like "ResistNet" are made up of racists like Billy Joe Roper.

    The cake is a lie

    Ummmm.... no.

All those Tea Party people are racists. That's what you want us to believe, isn't it?

No not all of them. Just that the facade that the racist are a minority is just that...a facade.

Uhmmm, don't you know racism is okay so long if it's coated with social patronization (especially if monetary gain for a Party is achieved at the expense of an entire race)? icon_cool.gif

Oh, I see. So not all of them are.

You seem to have access to information that I don't.

What is the percentage of Tea Party members who are racist?

I think the number was...what 70% thought blacks simply whine to much right?

Apparently you have access to information that I don't.

So, once again, what is the percentage of Tea Party members who are racist?

If 70% of them think African Americans "whine too much," they're racist. And, let's be honest, since Obama became president, the racists no longer feel the need to hide their racism. It's pretty out in the open.

southbeach1500 saidNah.... you can do better than that.

I think 90% of gays "whine too much." That doesn't make me anti-gay. It just makes me an outcast from the gaggle of gay hens on here.

Well, what underpins the idea that blacks "whine too much" is that there is no racism, institutional or otherwise, to explain their discontent. Obama's ascendancy has been used by racists to claim that there is no longer any validity to African American's very real history and present day reality of racism. That position is either woefully misinformed or racist.

If you said 90% of gays whine to much and were a "gaggle of hens", I'd say you were minimally hetero-sexist and probably anti-femme.

    Which I am not.

You and the DoomedAlpaca are in very murky territory when you make such sweeping generalizations.

You may not be, but based on the polling about 70% of the Tea Partiers are at the very least unsympathetic to the plight of African Americans, who have been hardest hit by the Recession with an estimated 40% unemployment among black men.

That requires a huge leap to connect that the answer to my question about exactly what percentage of Tea Party members are racist:

DoomedAlpaca stated: I think the number was...what 70%

    Unsympathetic does not equal racist.

And, I said "woefully misinformed or racist." If someone isn't sympathetic because they think African Americans have it as easy as whites, that's not racist.

I'm not really quibbling with you...

But DoomedAlpaca's assertion is quite a stretch, even you would admit that, yes?

What's a stretch is your inability to admit that there is a problem./
